John Todd Cornett, OD, PA

A native of Amarillo, Dr. Cornett has practiced in his hometown since completing his training at the University of Houston in 1992.

As a clincal investigator for many FDA clinical trials Dr. Cornett evaluates emerging new treatment options. This research allows patients at Premier Vision to benefit from leading edge technologies.

His community involvement includes many years of service through Rotary, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Bushland Independent School District. He is currently the President of the board.

Dr. Cornett holds the highest level of licensure to practice optometry granted by the Texas Optometry Board. Professional involvement includes membership in the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.

Dr. Cornett served on the Board of Trustees of the TOA for many years and was honored to serve as its President in 2005. He was recognized The Young Optometrist of the Year in 2002.

Married and the proud father of three, he and his family are active members of Central Church of Christ.



J. Craig Gladman, OD, PA

Dr. Gladman returned to Amarillo to practice after completing his training at the University of Houston in 1988. Prior to beginning his optometric training, he was an RN working as a surgical nurse for several years.

He holds the highest level of licensure to practice optometry granted by the Texas Optometry Board. Professional memberships include the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the Panhandle Optometric Society. Since his first year of eligibility, he has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

He is active in the arts community in Amarillo. He is a trustee on the board of the Amarillo Opera and a longtime member of the Amarillo Chorus, a civic organization.

In his leisure time, he pursues his passion for golf, is an avid reader and enjoys gourmet cooking.

He and his wife have raised two successful boys and have been blessed with two wonderful grandchildren. He is a longtime member of Central Church of Christ, serving in a leadership capacity. He has contributed many years of service as a Trustee of the Continent of Great Cities - a missionary training and support work for South America.



Jim Moore, OD, PC

Dr. Jim Moore has enjoyed practicing in his hometown of Amarillo since graduating from the University of Houston in 1980. He holds the highest level of licensure to practice optometry granted by the Texas Optometry Board.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting, target shooting and golfing.

He and his wife have raised three great young men who have provided years of sports enjoyment, as they root for their alma matter, Amarillo High School.



Shauna Thornhill, O.D.

After graduating from Pennsylvania Collge of Optometry in 2007, Dr. Thornhill returned to her hometown of Amarillo to build her practice.

While in training at PCO, she distinguished herself by receiving many leadership and clinical awards, including the Student Research Award of 2006 from the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the American Optometric Association.

She holds the highest level of licensure to practice optometry granted by the Texas Optometry Board. She holds active membership in the American Optometric Association, the Texas Opotometric Association, and the Panhandle Optometric Society.

Community involvement centers around service through the Junior League of Amarillo. She is married and can often be found playing soccer in her spare time.



Leslie Sciumbato, O.D.

Dr. Sciumbato joined Premier Vision upon graduating from the University of Houston. She is a native of Amarillo and is eager to serve her hometown community.

While at the University of Houston, she distinguished herself with several honors and awards. She holds membership in the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society and received several letters of clinical excellence.

She holds the highest level of licensure to practice optometry granted by the Texas Optometry Board. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the Panhandle Optometric Society.

She plays a significant role in staffing and operating The Center for Dry Eye Relief at Premier Vision.

She enjoys traveling and snow skiing.
